ADVANCED AUDITION INTENSIVE W/SALVATORE ANTONIO
The Advanced Audition Intensive with Salvatore Antonio (AAS Artistic Director) is designed for the working actor with substantial on-camera experience who is seeking to transfer their work effectively in the online audition. Renew your audition game, and develop a deeper understanding of how the camera captures your work through the intimate setting of the Zoom studio and self-tape audition. Material will be challenging to reflect your strengths and stretches.
Admittance is by Studio Director's discretion.
REQUIREMENTS:
This course is not recommended for beginners. Substantial experience auditioning for professional TV & film projects. Prior on-camera training, and agent representation.

You know how to do it, now do it differently.
Join multi-award-nominated* stage and screen actor Salvatore Antonio, in a course specifically designed for theatre-based actors who want to transfer their skills to a cinematic medium. Explore new language, tools and methodology. Learn how to apply the tools and techniques developed for the stage within the intimacy of the camera frame.
With over 70 credits to his name, Salvatore has played on stages across Canada from Vancouver to Nova Scotia. He was last seen playing the title role in the Dora-award winning 'Botticelli In The Fire' at Canadian Stage in Toronto. He has also played numerous series regular, recurring and guest stars on television and film, most recently Schitt's Creek and Slasher. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School, where he also taught Acting for Camera for six years.
*nominated for a 2019 Canadian Screen Award, and a 2020 ACTRA Award. He was named a Finalist for the Governor General’s Award for Literary Drama.

Advanced Scene Study with Salvatore Antonio is an online camera class for professional actors who want to build dynamic performances from the audition through to partnered 'on-set' execution. The class will utilise concepts of framing, language, action, and specificity to activate complex characters and situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of Core Acting II or higher, or agent representation and experience auditioning for professional film & television projects.
