structure for technique and craft while exploring assigned material
from current film and television scripts. This class provides a
concrete structure to creating a base of technique to be applied in

hand what works and what doesn't in your audition! This class has been
designed specifically to isolate individual strengths and weakness and
to provide a framework of understanding for improvement and growth.
This class cover's a range of topics including text analysis, character
development and relationship dynamics while enabling the actor to
acquire the necessary tools to effectively communicate their work on
screen. Actor's will be challenged with current material and scenes and
required to execute their work on camera in audition format! Requirements:
Headshot and resume, previous theoretical and practical experience

THE ACTOR'S AUDITION

wanting to make a transition from the stage to the screen and for
actor's who have not yet attained the results from their on camera
auditions. This class provides a strong foundation for understanding of
the technical requirements needed for an effective representation of
the actor's work on screen while covering the basics of text analysis,
character development, relationship and environment study. Actor's will
be challenged with current material and scenes and required to execute
their work on camera in audition format!

IMAGE TRANSFERENCE: THE APPROACH
CLASS STRUCTURE: 4 DAYS 13 HOURS

Class Description: This is a selective class, structured as an
introduction to the technique of "Image Transference" created
by Dean Armstrong. Actors will be given the foundation of the Image Transference
process, the terminology, structure and the approach. As well as being
highly practical, actors in this class will cultivate a diverse understanding
and representation of text, subtext and character, relationships and
environment that will not only enhance the entertainment value
of their work, but also increase the likelihood of their casting.
They will learn and train themselves to think and effectively
use their imagination to create an end product that is without
question the most truthful, accurate and interesting representation
of the world they are attempting to create.
Requirements: Headshot and resume,
previous theoretical and practical experience. Admission at the discretion
of studio director.
This class concludes with a guest visit
from one of Canada's leading feature film and episodic casting directors.
Participating actors will be given an opportunity to showcase their
work, experience a redirect and receive valuable insight into techniques

IMAGE TRANSFERENCE: THE APPLICATION
CLASS STRUCTURE: 4 DAYS 13 HOURS

Class Description: This is a highly selective class, structured
to build upon a working knowledge of the "Image Transference"
technique, created by Dean Armstrong. Students will be applying the
skill set they've received from previous Image Transference training
and applying it at a more challenging and intensive level. Actors will
be approaching a wide variety of material, taking them out of their
pre-established comfort zones and applying Image Transference to execute
precise and highly competitive auditions.
Requirements:
Successful completion of Image Transference: The Approach. Actor must
have headshot and resume, previous theoretical and practical experience.
Admission at the discretion of the studio director.
This class concludes with a guest visit
from one of Canada's leading feature film and episodic casting directors.
Participating actors will be given an opportunity to showcase their
