THE ACTOR'S BOOTCAMP

Course Description: This is a level three on camera training class.  Ideal for actors with significant experience in film + television.  Actors who have secured professional work on screen including large principal, guest starring, recurring and leading roles in recognized episodic and feature films will be considered for enrollment and/or those with equivalent experience.

Class Content (includes): Text analysis, character development, relationship + environment study, on camera audition technique + preparation, the call back with one redirect, the working call back and defining industry competitiveness in the actors work.

5 SCENES IN 4 DAYS

Class Agenda: To enhance the character range and flexibility of already working talent.  This class is about content volume and helping to prep actors for carrying the responsibilities of multiple major auditions in the same week and most importantly, booking the job.  

All classes at AAS are documented on DVD for in class review.  The camera rolls as instructor notes are documented for continued at home learning, understanding and development.

Requirements: Agent representation, headshot and resume, previous theoretical and practical experience.  Admission is strictly at the discretion of the School Director.

Please Note: AAS instructors actively work in the film and television industry and as such may develop conflicts preventing them from fulfilling their teaching obligations. In the event a conflict arises, a suitable instructor with equal experience will be brought in.
