Class Description:
This is a highly selective class, structured to build upon a working knowledge of the "Image Transference" technique, created by Dean Armstrong.
This class is about two things:  defining the product [the actor] and executing precise, highly competitive and unquestionably bookable auditions.

CLASS STRUCTURE:

DAY 1:  Actors are required to bring in material that they recently auditioned for that they did NOT book.  This a process of deconstruction, using the actors headshot and the character description to determine not only how the talent is identified by their agent but also the casting director and broader community.  Actors are then required to revisit their material on camera in the audition format as a means of determining reasons why the job was not booked and what attributes of Image Transference were deficient.

DAY 2:  In class review of MASTER DVD with notes on individual performances.  Actors are then put through the Call Back process with one redirect.  Individually selected material distributed to actors for DAY 3.  Character description, content and genre of material selected for each actor to isolate and explore personal strengths and weaknesses.

DAY 3:  The audition process with one redirect.

DAY 4.  The working call back.

Requirements: Successful completion of Image Transference: The Approach. Actor must have headshot and resume, previous theoretical and practical experience. Admission at the discretion of the studio director.

All classes at AAS feature dvd documentation of in class work - a vital tool for at home review and continued outside development.
