This class is recommended for aspiring talent and/or actors new to the film and television industry. The focus is on achieving a relaxed and natural presence under pressure, owning and delivering words with passion, and unlocking and trusting one's own unique vocal sound.
Participants will:
- Learn how to overcome the limitations that fear and nervousness place on the voice
- Access the full range of character, authority and emotional connection of the voice.
- Identify and overcome limiting habits
- Develop techniques for learning text quickly and effectively
- Introduction to General American accent (aka Standard American accent)
- Work text and monologues with coaching
This class is ideal for Canadian and ESL actors auditioning for American television and feature films.Each voice is as unique and special as a fingerprint. Learn to enjoy and employ yours to its fullest range of possibility and power.
