Class Description: This is a 12-week program for advanced level actors featuring: Dean Armstrong's exclusive Method IMAGE TRANSFERENCE: THE APPLICATION, VOICE TECHNIQUE, COMEDY ON CAMERA, SCENE STUDY + TEXT ANALYSIS, as well as ON CAMERA AUDITION TECHNIQUE

CLASS STRUCTURE:
First 6 Weeks:
DAY 1: IT: THE APPLICATION (exercise and script based)
DAY 2: IT: THE APPLICATION (exercise and script based)
DAY 3: VOICE (exercise and script based)
DAY 4: VOICE (exercise and script based)
DAY 5: COMEDY (exercise and script based)
DAY 6: COMEDY (exercise and script based)

Last 6 weeks:
DAY 7: SCENE STUDY: TEXT ANALYSIS (1 SCENE)
DAY 8: SCENE STUDY: EXECUTION IN PARTNERS WITH INSTUCTOR INTERACTION DAY 9: SCENE STUDY: WITH GUEST DIRECTOR
DAY 10: AUDITION TECHNIQUE: First pass audition material with in-class review of Master DVD (2 contrasting scenes from the same script/same role, REC: 2-3 minutes in length per scene)
DAY 11: AUDITION TECHNIQUE: THE WORKING CALL BACK
DAY 12: AUDITION TECHNIQUE: THE SCREEN TEST WITH GUEST CASTING DIRECTOR

Requirements: Advanced: Significant Film + TV credits, advancing and/or reengage grade at LEVEL 3. Headshot and resume, preferred. Admission at the discretion of the School Director.

All classes are on camera. A DVD will be provided on DAY 1 to all actors for in class performance documentation and take home review. Instructor and guest artist notes are documented on DVD for continued outside learning and development. Only professional episodic and feature film scripts are used. This class does not feature a 13th class live studio taping and adjudication, nor mid-term or final evaluation reports.

Please Note: AAS instructors actively work in the film and television industry and as such may develop conflicts preventing them from fulfilling their teaching obligations. In the event a conflict arises, a suitable instructor with equal experience will be brought in.
