Ms. Reis is best known to television audiences as the saintly Lucy Ramone (Busy1s mom) on READY OR NOT and the notorious Stephanie Long on CBC1s RIVERDALE. She has appeared in over thirty TV series, movies of the week and feature films, most recently costarring in BLIZZARD directed by LeVar Burton and as 3Katie Couric2 in OUR FATHERS.
For the stage, Ms. Reis has played leading roles at regional theatres in both Canada and the United States. A member of the faculty at George Brown College and Sheridan College, she has also taught and directed at The National Theatre School of Canada, York University, Equity Showcase and The National Ballet. In addition to teaching popular scene study/acting technique classes at her own acting studio for the past 15 years, Ms. Reis has worked as an acting coach on over 20 films and movies of the week.
She is the Artistic Director of The First Stages Theatre Company and THEATRE JUMP, a Theatre Arts Training Workshop for Young People, now celebrating its 6th season at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Hope, Ontario.
